The envioroment of the Nacional Park of Sierra Nevada it is allocated from the 300 m to the junction of the rivers “Nacimiento” and the “Andarax,until the 3.482 meters of the Mulhacen mountain. This origins too many thermal differences and the representation of almost each bioclimatic levels of pertaining to the Mediterranean area, that allows to contain a huge variety of ecosystem (high mountain, forests and brooks, for all these reasons Sierra Nevada represents the area of most important biologic wealth in the Iberian Peninsula.

We can behold oaks, holm oaks, firs, savines, and son on. Its several ecosistems allows the existence of a great variety of fauna, birds like the herrerillo, or the AGATEADOR and predatory birds like the eagly the royal owl and the EAGLE PERDICERA,. We could see as well goats MONTES, FOXES, BADGERS AND wild cats, together with amphibious and reptiles. IN their rivers, and also trouts. We colud also find the “MARTÍN PESCADOR”.
Between the invertebrates we will find the “BUTTERFLY APOLLO NEVADENSE” an specific specie of Sierra Nevada.
