At East it borders on the mass mountains of El Chorito and Rocigalgo and the mountain range of Miraflores and La Celada. At South it borders on La Raña de Santiago. In this park, one can find both well-conserved Mediterranean forests, brushes forests and enclaves of Athlantic vegetation, as well as weeds and brambles. The Park is a Special Protection Area for Birds.
